Replacing existing user with another one

Hi,

I would like to replace an existing user in sales-i with a new sales rep. In the past I had to place a call with sales-i for them to do it.

Is it still the case and if so, how do you open a case now?

Thanks, Kevin

  • We have been with Sales-i for around 10 years, its inevitable that sales reps/managers come and go sometimes with too much regularity. I grew weary with constantly changing usernames and notes. What I started doing was naming the areas as the username (in our case area 01 to area 07) instead of using the managers own name as the username. I do add his name and email within the profile so they are all very identifiable, but by using the area as the username, it means all I have to do if there is a change of personal, is to switch out the email and login details to reflect the new starter. All notes and transaction on that area remain accessible to the new starter. The old manager cannot get back in of course as the login details are changed. It saves needing to contact Si and request.

    a) a change of username

    b) a transfer of notes.

Since I always know when the new user has started, I know which are his notes from the date attached to them
