Language files empty?

Hi,

I was wondering if fellow sugar developers also had the issue that for some reason a specific dropdown file is being truncated and replaced with a empty version? I know that the way how sugar handles dropdowns is a bit messy so my theory would be that the user who wants to edit the dropdown logges into the sugar in a language where this specific dropdown does not have a file associated in the custom/Extension/application/Ext/languages and therefore sugar 'assumes' that this specific dropdown does not yet exists? 

Would that be a correct assumption?

    Hi Jeff,

    thanks for the reply. I knew this the strange thing is that for some reason one specific dropdown was truncated when the customer opened the dropdown in the dropdown editor. When I check our gitlab repo the file isn't empty at all so I don't understand why the file should be empty? Any thoughts on what could be the cause? The only thing odd that I noticed was that the version of this dropdown for en_uk didn't exist. Could this mess things up?
